Frequently Asked Questions

Should I schedule a Discovery Call or a Discovery Visit?

Great question — this is the most common place people start.

  • Discovery Call → Best if you’re unsure what to do next, or not sure if we can help. It’s a free, no-obligation phone call where we learn about your situation, answer questions, and help you decide if Kinetix is the right fit.

  • Discovery Visit → Best if you’ve already tried things like chiro or PT before and haven’t gotten lasting results. You know you need help and are ready for a long-term solution. The Discovery Visit is an in-person assessment where we identify the root cause of your problem and map out your treatment plan.

What makes Kinetix different from other chiropractors or physical therapists?

We don’t do quick fixes or cookie-cutter rehab. Every patient spends their entire visit with a doctor, working through a plan tailored to their goals. Our approach combines chiropractic, rehab, and performance training so you get lasting results — not just temporary relief.

How long will it take to get better?

Every case is unique, but most patients notice improvements quickly. Long-term results depend on your injury, goals, and consistency. Our plans are designed to fix the root cause and help you stay better — not just feel better for a few days

Do you take insurance?

We do not accept insurance — and that’s intentional. Here’s why:

Insurance companies decide what they think is “medically necessary,” and they often stop covering care long before a patient has actually solved their problem. This forces people to make choices based on what’s covered, not what will truly get them better.

At Kinetix, we’ve removed that barrier. We focus solely on what we know works to get lasting results, not on what insurance dictates. While we understand many people want to use their insurance, we’ve found this approach allows us to create the most effective, personalized plan — and keep you on track until you reach your goals.

👉 Many patients use HSA/FSA funds, and we can provide superbills for possible reimbursement if you’d like to submit to your insurance on your own

I don’t want to be adjusted, do I have to be?

Not at all. While adjustments can be helpful for some people, they’re not the only tool we use — and for many of our patients, they aren’t even part of care. At Kinetix Chiropractic, we specialize in active rehab, strength training–based exercises, and personalized treatment plans. You’ll never be pressured into an adjustment. Instead, we’ll choose the approach that best matches your goals and gets you results that last.

What will happen if I don’t do anything about my injury or pain?

The truth is, most nagging issues don’t just “go away.” They may calm down for a little while, but without addressing the root cause, the problem often comes back — sometimes worse. Ignoring pain can also force you to change how you move, train, or even live day-to-day, which may lead to new injuries. Our job is to help you break that cycle so you can move forward confidently without wondering when the pain will return.

What happens if I come in and the spot that normally is hurting isn’t — should I still be seen?

Yes. Pain is the last thing to show up and the first thing to leave. Just because you’re not feeling your usual pain that day doesn’t mean the underlying issue has been solved. Think of it like brushing your teeth: you don’t only do it when you have a toothache. Each visit builds on the last one so that we actually fix the problem and keep it from coming back.

Do I need to come forever?

HECK no. Unlike traditional chiropractic offices, we don’t lock you into endless visits. We build care plans with specific end dates, tailored around your goals and progress. Our mission is to get you better and then keep you better with the tools we teach you — not keep you on the table for life.

I already have a trainer — can you work with them on what I can and cannot do?

HECK yes. In fact, we love when patients already have a trainer, coach, or program they enjoy. Our role is to make sure your body is moving well and recovering properly so you can get the most out of your training. We’ll gladly collaborate with your trainer to adjust movements, progress exercises, and keep you safe while you chase your goals.
